Sorry for the hiatus, but I moved from NY to KS to finish my degree. My home away from home is a Fifth Wheel while my husband stays at our home in NY. Because my husband and me are split between two locations being conservative about finances is really important, so cheap eats have been my game. I also picked up an Airfryer (I use this!) to ease my dependence on propane.
I fell in love with this gadget at first usage, so I use it everyday. My favorite thing to cook in my Airfryer is chicken and because I can buy about 2lb of chicken wings at $2.50, I have them often. The recipe I have developed is very simple, very tasty and only requires 4 ingredients. Check out the recipe to my Airfryer Chili Garlic Wings below.
Airfryer Chili Garlic Wings
1 tablespoon Chili Powder
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Himalayan Pink Sea Salt (I use this!)
About 2 lb chicken wings (6-7 pieces)
Directions: To get a crispy chicken wing, make sure they are dry. Combine the chili powder, garlic powder, and salt evenly and apply the rub to the chicken wings. Put wings in the airfryer basket, drumette up with wingtip facing out. Once the basket is inserted into the airfryer, set the airfryer at 400 degrees with the timer at 30 minutes. Once the fryer reaches 10 minutes, flip the wings and continue to cook. The finished product should be crispy and flavorful.
Note: Seasonings work well on steak as well!
